Umrah pilgrims in mind
This opening also follows the recent launch of Park Inn by Radisson Makkah Thakher Alsharqi and helps further cement the Group’s presence in the Holy City. It’ll be another venture for the Group’s popular Park Inn brand, which caters to travellers looking for more budget-friendly options.
Park Inn by Radisson Makkah Thakher Algharbi is a 161-key property, with a blend of comfort and amenities including an all-day dining restaurant and a lobby café.
The hotel also provides a complimentary 24-hour shuttle bus service to the Grand Mosque of Makkah, ensuring a convenient stay.
The hotel is located in the heart of Thakher City, only 2,1 km from The Grand Mosque. It is part of a comprehensive urban development led by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia which covers 320,000 square meters.
Building on existing investment
With a total investment of $7 billion (26 billion SAR), it aims to create a seamless ecosystem of residential, commercial, and hospitality spaces. The development is expected to accommodate over 1.6 million visitors and pilgrims upon completion, supporting Saudi Vision 2030’s goal of hosting 30 million Umrah pilgrims annually.
Radisson Hotel Group is committed to supporting Saudi Arabia’s vision of diversifying the economy and enhancing the tourism sector by expanding its footprint in the Middle East.
