Radisson expands Iberian portfolio

Radisson is expanding its portfolio in the Iberian peninsula, with the group announcing several brand debuts in key cities alongside a swathe of new properties.

Iberian Peninsula focus

The group will be making its debut in both Malaga and Tenerife with the signing of Radisson RED Malaga and Radisson Resort & Residences Tenerife, a landmark resort set to undergo a full renovation. 

Furthermore, the Group continues to strengthen its presence in Iberia with the upcoming opening of Radisson RED Porto Gaia in Vila Nova de Gaia, and a significant investment planned for the refurbishment of Radisson Blu Hotel Lisbon, starting in 2025. 

These developments reinforce the Group’s strategic growth in the region, enhancing its portfolio with dynamic new properties and elevated guest experiences. 

Over the last few years, Radisson Hotel Group has significantly strengthened its presence in Spain and the wider Iberian region with the opening and signing of several notable properties, including the Radisson Blu 1882 Hotel, Barcelona Sagrada Familia; Radisson Collection Hotel, Gran Via Bilbao; Radisson Collection Hotel, Magdalena Plaza Sevilla; Radisson RED Madrid; Radisson Blu Resort, Lanzarote and the signing of the first Radisson Collection in the heart of Madrid. 

With a portfolio of over 10 properties in operation and under development, the Group has an ambitious growth plan in place, with clear commitments to grow in popular tourist destinations such as the Balearic Islands, Costa del Sol, and the Canary Islands, as well as a plan to expand in major urban centers and key cities like Madrid, Barcelona, Bilbao, Seville, Malaga, San Sebastián, and Valencia. 

Key milestone
