With help from the likes of architecture and design practice AEDAS, the visually striking Fairfield by Marriott Phnom Penh is expected to make its debut in 2022.

On opening, this ambitious newbuild will become the first Fairfield by Marriott hotel in Cambodia. We take a closer look at what visitors can expect.

A landmark development for Phnom Penh

Developed in partnership with the property’s owner Royal Field Development Company, Fairfield by Marriott Phnom Penh promises to further strengthen Marriott International’s presence in South-East Asia.

The new hotel will be situated on a prime section of Russian Boulevard within a 45-storey mixed-use development containing offices, a cinema, a sky bar and a five-storey shopping mall. Set within the administrative centre of the city, the site is a 20-minute drive from the airport and will provide easy access to the tourist, diplomatic and corporate parts of Phnom Penh.

By staying here, guests will be just minutes away from the Peace Palace, various government offices, financial centres, retail hubs and visitor attractions such as Central Market, Sisowath Quay and the Royal Palace.

A hotel designed for productivity

Fairfield by Marriott Phnom Penh will be home to 90 guest rooms, along with a flexible restaurant offering both local and international flavours, and a well-equipped fitness centre.

As a brand, Fairfield by Marriott aims to cater for business and leisure guests who are looking to be productive while they’re away. Reflecting this ethos, each of the hotels offers complimentary wifi and hot breakfast, alongside rooms that are thoughtfully designed with separate areas for living, working and sleeping.

The four-star Phnom Penh property has been designed by AEDAS. This exciting new arrival is expected to begin welcoming guests from early 2022.
