Showcasing a bold industrial-chic design by Nelson Worldwide, the 161-key Bellyard, West Midtown Atlanta, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel has now opened its doors.

Fresh from joining Marriott International‘s Tribute Portfolio collection, the new hotel is promising to deliver warm hospitality, culinary excellence and an immersion into the local culture.

A stylish property attuned to its surroundings

Bellyard, West Midtown Atlanta, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel – which is owned by Three P Partners and operated by Pivot – is a brand-new property offering 161 contemporary guestrooms and suites at mixed-use development The Interlock.

“Our vision for Bellyard is a destination that mirrors the soul and surroundings of Atlanta’s West Midtown neighbourhood, where both residents and travellers can create genuine connections,” said general manager Brendan Abraham. “Bellyard embodies a refined, yet approachable escape that replicates the feeling of staying at a lifelong friend’s home.”

“With the debut of Bellyard, Atlanta’s hotel portfolio continues to expand and offers visitors new experiences within the booming West Midtown neighbourhood,” added William Pate, president and CEO, Atlanta Convention & Visitors Bureau. “The property brings refreshed options within walking distance of chef-driven restaurants and local shops, keeping Atlanta top of mind as a premier destination for leisure and business travellers.”

Local partners and heritage-inspired design

Three P Partners brought in a number of local partners to help realise this project. As a result, the hotel benefits from the design expertise of Nelson Worldwide, along with art from Amy Parry Projects, Tiny Doors Atlanta, Iron to Art, ART & Associates, Lauren Williams Art and Pierpoint.

“We wanted to develop a concept that was inspired by a relentless pursuit of discovery, giving a nod to the ingenuity and industrial character of the historic stockyards that shaped the landscape of West Midtown Atlanta,” explained Robyn Novak, vice president at Nelson Worldwide. “From the materials to the artwork, Bellyard is a destination that reflects the region’s distinct perspective and will ignite curiosity in all those who visit.”

The hotel’s interiors combine white oak wood flooring with dark wood accents, industrial-style walls and ceilings, hand-crafted custom suite tables and woven rugs.

Bellyard’s cocktail-centric, American tavern-inspired restaurant Drawbar is driven by executive chef Christina Wai, offering an inventive spin on traditional Southern dishes. The property also houses an outpost of Saint Germain French Bakery.

Additional amenities within the hotel include 7,000 sq ft of event space and a fitness centre with Peloton bikes.
