Hotel development, management and investment firm Midas Hospitality has unveiled the first Aloft property in the St. Louis region.

Amid all the uncertainty around Covid19, Midas Hospitality is continuing to expand its portfolio with the launch of a contemporary property in St. Louis, Missouri. We find out more.

Aloft in St. Louis

In partnership with Marriott International, the hotel group behind the dynamic Aloft brand, Midas Hospitality has just opened a new property in St. Louis’ 200-acre Cortex Innovation Community. Spread over five floors, the new Aloft hotel boasts 129 rooms that place the focus firmly on technology and connectivity – a perfect fit for the prominent innovation hub. Indeed, the property is conveniently located close to the offices of some of the biggest names in technology, including Microsoft and Boeing, making it ideal for both business travellers and remote workers.

“We’re proud to introduce this vibrant hotel experience to St. Louis and specifically the Cortex Innovation District,” said Midas Hospitality CEO and co-founder David Robert. “The energy of the Aloft Hotel matches the neighborhood perfectly.”

Different by design

Located at 4245 Duncan Ave., the property includes two meeting rooms, a fitness centre and a heated indoor pool. Moreover, it also features the sociable W XYZ bar, which boasts outdoor seating overlooking the Cortex Commons.

This eye-catching opening represents the 12th hotel that Midas Hospitality now manages in the Greater St. Louis region, and its 40th hotel overall across 11 midwest and southern US states.

Aloft, a brand introduced in 2005 whose first hotel opened in 2008, provides an oasis where you least expect it, a spirited neighbourhood outpost and a haven at the side of the road.
