Kohler, a global lifestyle brand and leader in kitchen and bath products, will have a striking presence during Salone del Mobile this year; with both a fair booth for product displays and a special installation at Palazzo del Senato to a announce a multi-year partnership with artist-designer, Daniel Arsham
Kohler will be showcasing the world premiere of an art installation at The Palazzo which celebrates the Kohler x Arsham collaboration. Divided Layers is an immersive walk-through experience which is set to transport visitors to a perspective within the sink, rather than as a user of a functional item.
A series of stacked panels form a tunnel which visitors can walk through. Once inside, a pond acts as a mirrored surface to reflect the opening of the cavernous space and the walls mimic the rhythm of the columns within the Palazzo, contributing to an entire atmosphere that represents movement and flow. This bespoke installation continues the exploration of art through form and function which started with the release of Rock.01 – a 3D printed sink Daniel Arsham designed for Kohler in 2021.
In the hub of the creative fair itself, Kohler’s booth in Hall 22 will showcase new designs, colours, finishes and bathroom technology with an array of global products:
The innovative Statement Shower Collection brings a range of unique shapes and array of sizes to the shower. Unique sprays elevate the showering experience and universal compatibility means the system works wherever in the world it is installed.
Showcasing Kohler’s industry-leading approach to digital showering are Anthem Valves and Controls. Every aspect of these has been thoughtfully designed to give users a truly immersive showering experience, tailored to exact specifications and according to needs. With two valve platforms to choose from – digital and mechanical– they are meticulously engineered to fit global plumbing standards.
Other products include the Numi 2.0 intelligent toilet, which features personal cleansing functionality as well as lighting and audio that can pair to create spa-like environments within the bathroom. Other intelligent toilets include the Veil, Eir and Innate that provide optimum personal hygiene and striking, sleek designs.
