Huge Staybridge Suites extended-stay hotel debuts in Dubai

IHG and SRG Holding have opened a 360-key upper-upscale property within a soaring 48-storey tower opposite the Dubai International Financial Centre.

Staybridge Suites Dubai Financial Centre aims to combine the comforts of home with the thoughtful design of a boutique hotel and community-oriented public areas.

A prime location in Dubai

This new hotel, which is aimed squarely at extended-stay travellers, sits opposite the Dubai International Financial Centre on an attractive Sheikh Zayed Road site surrounded by leisure, dining, shopping and entertainment options. Opened by IHG and SRG Holding, it becomes the third Staybridge Suites-branded property in the UAE.

“The aim with the launch of the new Staybridge Suites Dubai Financial Center is to provide guests with a hotel where they could stay for a few days, weeks or months in one of Dubai’s most vibrant areas,” explained Fahad AlRafi, CEO of SRG Holding.

“As an established family-owned developer, owner and property manager in Dubai, we have seen a shift in demand in recent years from the traditional hotel and accommodation options, not only from visitors and newcomers to the city, but also from many existing residents who are now looking for more flexible, hassle-free accommodation options where they can also feel part of a community.”

Designed for longer stays

All of the Staybridge Suites hotel’s 360 studios and one-, two- and three-bedroom suites come with fully fitted kitchens and living space incorporating Siemens and Smeg appliances, smart TVs and a washer / dryer. Many also feature their own balconies, making the most of the tower’s impressive city and sea views, while the addition of interconnecting units provides an ideal option for families and small groups.

Guests staying here benefit from a complimentary breakfast buffet with takeaway options, a coffee and tea station and a 24-hour pantry, as well as a 24-hour convenience store. Other eye-catching amenities include a 25 m pool, well-equipped gym, boutique spa, cosy den and in-house restaurant offering room delivery.

The brand’s signature event, The Social, takes place three times a week, providing the opportunity for travellers to engage with other guests. And convenient workspaces are cleverly integrated throughout the hotel, from public areas to contemporary meeting rooms.
