Gallery Hotel in Barcelona presents a new interior design worth visiting and spending the night.

Located in the heart of Barcelona, next to the Passeig de Gràcia, there is a 4-star superior hotel: Gallery Hotel, renovated by Martínez Otero Contract. BRABBU takes part on this amazing renovation décor and can be found in the lobby.

The Gallery Renovation

After an expansion phase, the hotel has a new visual with an entrance through a spectacular iron and glass wall screen. It also features the reception, the lobby, the main staircase of the noble areas, the meeting rooms and the restaurant. The 25 year old building in Barcelona offers spacious and bright rooms to their guests.

The main point of Gallery Hotel was to assemble a renovation able to create a classic and timeless space. For that, the designers made use of noble materials like marble for floors, walls and the balcony; brass for floors and doors, black lacquered metal, black oak and white lacquered corrugated panels.

The interior experience

The grey travertine marble counter is the accent furniture that stands out from the rest throughout the lobby. It has dimensions of 5.50m wide and 1.10m high. As a way to create an inviting environment in the lobby, there are MALAY armchairs by BRABBU. As the designer says “BRABBU is a design brand that offers a diverse range of elegantly styled furniture and accessories that are both comfortable and functional”.

The ethnicities of the mesmerizing Malay Archipelago inspired the creation of MALAY Velvet Armchair, a twist on mid-century modern furniture. This tufted upholstered chair with aged brass legs has a mystical soul that will fulfil any room set with energy from Nature. The designers chose MALAY armchairs because of their shape, its upholstery in twill, its style and variety of colours. They were customized in a grey, a tone that fits perfectly in the project due to the shades of the floor and walls.

The hotel also provides a wide gastronomic offer in the centre of Barcelona. Here you can enjoy an elaborate menu at the SINTONIA restaurant, which houses a pleasant garden terrace, a selection of tapas at The Gallery Space bar, and an original cocktail menu on the exclusive TOP. SINTONIA, the hotel’s new restaurant is a dining space accompanied by a fully renovated original Scottish bar, characterized by its decorative finishes in natural materials, black steel, glass, metal, wood and stone tiles. The materials used by Martínez Otero Contract provided the perfect contrast to this turnkey project, where aesthetics and atmosphere are complemented by their dining experience.
