The launch of the new Marriott Executive Apartments Port Moresby property marks the hotel group’s entry to Papua New Guinea.

The debut of this long-stay Marriott property also marks the Marriott Executive Apartments brand’s entry to the Australia, New Zealand and Pacific region.

A home away from home

The brand-new Marriott Executive Apartments Port Moresby will now offer a home away from home for international business travellers looking to stay longer.

This property is set on the waterfront at the heart of Port Moresby as a part of the mixed-use Harbourside South development. Here, guests can expect the brand’s signature luxury apartments along with premium hotel services and some of the comforts of home.

“We are thrilled to establish our inaugural foothold in Papua New Guinea with this milestone opening”, said Sean Hunt, Area Vice President, Australia, New Zealand and Pacific for Marriott International.

“This is also a debut for the Marriott Executive Apartments brand in the region, allowing us to diversify our offering to cater to ambitious and adventurous travellers who seek a premium, trusted extended-stay experience.”

Privacy and connection

The new property houses 88 modern residential-style one- and two-bedroom apartments, including penthouses, with the space, comfort and privacy of residential living. Apartments feature upscale furnishings, separate areas for living, dining, working and sleeping, and a kitchen. Amenities and services here span Marshall Bluetooth sound systems, complimentary Wi-Fi, in-room washers and dryers, a cleaning service and parking.

Guests benefit from access to a stylish Executive Lounge offering light meals, self-service options and evening cocktails, and other benefits include access to a 25m outdoor lap pool, leisure pool, gym, spa treatment rooms, and a recreation zone for children.

The development this property is a part of also encompasses a retail floor and three floors of commercial space. The development connects to Harbourside East and West and Port Moresby’s Waterfront featuring an array of restaurants and bars, a boardwalk and marina.
