German hotel group Deutsche Hospitality has teamed up with Krasemann Immobilien to launch a new 124-room property, The Zleep Hotel Hannover.
The creation of this new hotel in Hannover represents another step in Deutsche Hospitality’s continued expansion across Europe. We look into what you can expect from the upcoming property.
A growing presence
Scandinavian brand Zleep aims to provide quality and design at affordable prices. Now Deutsche Hospitality, which is also behind Steigenberger Hotels & Resorts, MAXX by Steigenberger, Jaz in the City and IntercityHotel, has outlined plans to expand its geographical footprint with the introduction of The Zleep Hotel Hannover.
This will be Deutsche Hospitality’s third hotel in the city, following on from IntercityHotel Hannover and IntercityHotel Hannover Hauptbahnhof Ost. The new Zleep Hotel is being developed in partnership with the Krasemann Immobilien property group after the project was initiated by Fortura Immobilien Entwicklungs- und Beteiligungsgesellschaft.
“The Zleep Hotel Hannover will provide future leisure and business travellers and trade-fair visitors with innovative and comfortable overnight accommodation in the state capital of Lower Saxony whilst also offering value for money,” said Robert Boller, managing director of Zleep Hotels. “Krasemann Immobilien is an experienced partner with excellent local knowledge. Our partnership in Hannover enables us to drive forward the rollout of this fresh new brand on the German market.”
“Now that the agreement has been successfully concluded, we are very much looking forward to working together with Zleep Hotel,” Jörn Starossom, managing director of Krasemann Immobilien, added. “Deutsche Hospitality has established a fine reputation in Europe, and we are confident that this venture in Hannover will be a long-term success.”
Convenience and style
The newbuild property, which has an investment volume of approximately €13 million, will occupy a central site at Podbielskistraße 314-316 within the city’s Groß-Buchholz district when it opens at the end of 2022. The implementation of the project is being led by the architectural firm Bünemann & Collegen alongside BBU.Projekt Architekten BDA.
Extending over five floors, it will house 124 Nordic-design rooms, along with a spacious lounge exhibiting ‘hygge’ flair, an integrated reception space, a lobby and a breakfast and bar area. Its central location ensures it will benefit from good transport links, with underground parking accommodating 31 cars, as well as easy access to the public transport network.
Additional Zleep Hotels are currently under development in Hamburg, Frankfurt/the Rhine-Main region, Madrid, Prague and Zurich, with more locations at the planning stage.
Zleep Hotels’ vision is to always deliver quality, service and design at a great rate.
