Cambria Hotel St. Petersburg – Madeira Beach Marina is a stylish new addition to Florida’s hospitality scene, further bolstering Choice Hotels International’s presence in the state.

Cambria Hotels, the upscale brand franchised by Choice Hotels International, has added a third property to its portfolio in Florida. The newly opened Cambria Hotel St. Petersburg – Madeira Beach Marina showcases the brand’s distinctive aesthetic, which is designed to appeal to the discerning contemporary traveller. We find out more.

Cambria Hotels hails Florida hattrick

Located at 15015 Madeira Way, Cambria Hotel St. Petersburg – Madeira Beach Marina spans five storeys and boasts 125 rooms. It joins Cambria Hotel Ft. Lauderdale Airport South & Cruise Port and Cambria Hotel Miami Airport – Blue Lagoon as the brand’s third location in Florida alone.

Janis Cannon, senior vice president for upscale brands at Choice Hotels, said: “The Tampa Bay region has emerged in recent years as a highly sought-after destination in the state, and we are thrilled to be expanding the Cambria brand to Florida’s Gulf Coast.

“As the state reopens, the Cambria Hotel in Madeira Beach is ready to welcome guests when they are ready to travel, with its airy Gulf Coast views, central location and tranquil design that pays homage to the area’s boating culture and iconic white sand beaches. In fact, we want travellers to know that whenever and wherever their next trip may be, all of our Cambria hotels will be there with accommodations and amenities to help them feel at ease.”

Contemporary design features in Madeira Beach

This new Madeira Beach property is an opportunity for Cambria Hotels to show off its contemporary design, which has been tweaked to ensure that it is as responsive as possible to the needs of modern guests, including those travelling amid the Covid19 pandemic. Its noteworthy features range from plush bedding and spa-style bathrooms with Bluetooth mirrors to a rooftop infinity pool and state-of-the-art fitness centre.

Cambria Hotels is also taking part in Commitment to Clean, Choice’s scheme to give franchisees and their employees the necessary tools to achieve higher cleanliness standards and address Covid19-related health and safety concerns. In addition, guests can limit their interaction with hotel staff by using a dedicated text-messaging service for housekeeping requests, to-go food orders and meeting room enquiries.
