Project of the Week: Four Seasons Resort Hvar, Croatia
Set apart by its exceptional amenities, setting and design, this Four Seasons-branded resort scheme is the latest winner of our Project of the Week title.
A luxury hotel and residential development earmarked for the Croatian island of Hvar, Four Seasons’ latest outpost is shaping up to be rather special.
A prime island setting
In 2016, Arqaam Capital entered into an agreement with Four Seasons for the latter to manage and operate its proposed luxury mixed-use resort on Hvar. It’s aiming to transform a waterfront site at Brizenica Bay, a secluded cove with spectacular sea views on this island off the Dalmatian Coast.
The aim is for this site to ultimately house a 148-room Four Seasons hotel and a luxury residential community, including 60 Four Seasons Private Residences. These residences would range in size from one-bedroom units to five-bedroom villas.
Luxury amenities and inspiring design
In terms of guest amenities, the resort will have multiple swimming pools, private infinity pools, and a state-of-the-art spa and fitness centre. It’ll also be home to a number of restaurants, cafés and bars, retail boutiques, and conference and banqueting space.
Gensler is behind the resort’s chic sea-facing architectural design and Richmond Design has been tasked with handling the interiors.
The target completion date of this five-star development has not yet been confirmed.
