New Houston enclave
Transwestern Development Company appointed the luxury hotelier to manage the project, which is set to open in 2027 in Houston’s newest River Oaks enclave, The RO.
The RO is a new, 17-acre urban village with 75,000 square feet of specialty dining and retail, as well as creative office and community spaces.
The 105-room boutique hotel, with 44 private residences and private members club will be inspired by the natural beauty and architectural heritage of the River Oaks.
The residences will be on the top floors of the 34-story building, alongside residents-only amenities with skyline and tree canopy views.
Kohn Pedersen Fox has taken over architecture for the project, with interiors by Roman and Williams. Houston-based firm Dillon Kyle Architects will be handling interiors for the residences.
Extensive amenities
Amenities include a private members club, a destination Auberge restaurant and spa, event spaces, a 70-foot pool, lawns, gardens and alfresco dining venues.
There will also be extensive health and wellness facilities, including a spa, vitality pool, relaxation rooms, fitness centre and steam and sauna facilities.
Auberge Resorts Collection is a portfolio of 28 hotels, resorts, residences and private clubs. It’s part of The Friedkin Group, a consortium of automotive, hospitality, entertainment, sports and adventure companies.
