Adding a touch of luxury to smaller bathrooms

How Victoria + Albert's compact freestanding baths can transform a smaller space.

Victoria + Albert Barcelona 2 compact freestanding bath

How Victoria + Albert’s compact freestanding baths can transform a smaller space.

A beautiful freestanding bath is considered the ultimate statement of luxury in any bathroom. Yet many designers dismiss the option of a freestanding bath in small- to medium-sized rooms, assuming that an inset bath is the only viable choice. Victoria + Albert’s range of compact baths offers an alternative for these spaces.

The new Amiata 1500 will be available from June 2021. Designed by renowned design house Meneghello Paolelli Associati, the Amiata’s organic curves and elegant proportions suit both traditional and modern spaces. Just 1500mm long, this new edition of the Amiata can fit in modest alcoves, increasing the feeling of space.

Victoria + Albert’s bestselling bath, the Barcelona, is now available in three sizes. The smallest, the Barcelona 2, is under 1700mm and includes a hidden void for a waste, making installation simpler.

Like all Victoria + Albert baths, these can be specified in standard gloss or matt and in a choice of 199 RAL exterior colours.
