Yotel has announced plans to debut its disruptive aparthotel brand in Europe with the late 2023 opening of YotelPad London Stratford.

Resulting from a management agreement with owner, Silver Mascot Limited, this forthcoming aparthotel will be Yotel’s third property in London and seventh hotel in the UK.

A flexible accommodation concept

Yotel first introduced its aparthotel brand YotelPad in 2018 in answer to the rising demand for flexible accommodation options that suit changing lifestyle and work habits. These properties place the emphasis on smart design and the integration of technology.

Affordable modern studios, referred to as Pads, come with multifunctional space for living, working and sleeping, fully-equipped kitchenettes and stylish bathrooms feature amenities from Urban Jungle.

This new 62-key property in London Stratford promises a home away from home where highlights include a 24-hour reception known as Mission Control, a grab and go service, laundry facilities and ample storage space. In 2024, a food, beverage and retails space will also cater to guests.

Just like other properties under the YotelPad brand, the aparthotel will be available for one-night to monthly stays, with Pads ranging in size and layout to suit every traveller. Stratford is considered a leading shopping, restaurant, and entertainment destination with exceptional transport links.

Future growth for the brand

This newbuild aparthotel will join an expanding collection of YotelPads operating across the United States. Global growth is a priority for the brand with a commitment to encompassing 50 hotels within the portfolio by 2025.

Rohan Thakkar, chief development officer at Yotel, commented: “We’re incredibly excited to be opening our first YotelPad property outside of the US this year, and to be bringing the product to the UK and European market for the first time.”

“With increased demand for flexible stays that offer more space to live, work and play, whatever the length of stay, whether one night, one week or one year, we’re confident that YotelPad is the answer for travellers globally. Committed to expanding our footprint to meet demand worldwide, YotelPad will be a key driver in achieving our ambitious growth targets.”

Paul Glennon, director at Silver Mascot Limited, added: “We are delighted to announce the news that YotelPad London Stratford will be opening this year. YotelPad stood out as a truly different offering in the aparthotel space and we look forward to a long and rewarding relationship with Yotel.”
