Wyndham to bring Registry Collection Hotels to Georgia

The world’s largest hotel franchising company by number of properties, Wyndham Hotels & Resorts, has announced plans to introduce its newest brand to Tbilisi.
Georgia’s hospitality scene has received a major boost with the news that Registry Collection Hotels is coming to the country.
Wyndham’s newest hotel brand
Wyndham Hotels & Resorts launched its 21st brand, Registry Collection Hotels, in June 2021 with the opening of Grand Residences Riviera Cancun in Mexico. The luxury flag is designed to bring together handpicked properties combining individuality with thoughtful design and world-class service in spectacular destinations.
Now, the New Jersey-based hotel company has identified another striking scheme to add to its ranks. The newbuild Art Tbilisi, a Registry Collection Hotel is slated to open in early 2023 in the picturesque district of Abanotubani within the Georgian capital’s sought-after old town area.
Dimitris Manikis, president for Europe, Middle East, Eurasia and Africa at Wyndham Hotels & Resorts, said: “Our newest brand is the perfect option for independent luxury hotel owners who want to maintain their independent spirit while tapping into the global scale, capability and loyalty of Wyndham Hotels & Resorts, which is even more relevant as the industry recovers from the challenges of the global pandemic.
“We are incredibly proud to introduce our Registry Collection Hotels brand and this spectacular property to Georgia, a stunning destination that has become hugely popular thanks to its charming architecture, rich culture, delectable cuisine and many historic sites.”
Local gastronomy and wellness
Art Tbilisi, a Registry Collection Hotel will benefit from a prime position on a hill commanding views over the city. This tranquil retreat will provide easy access to a number of local attractions, not least the hot springs and sulphuric baths located opposite the property.
On completion, the hotel will house 100 guestrooms and suites, including deluxe and executive options, with stylish interiors, alongside amenities such as an elegant restaurant focusing on local delicacies and a rooftop wine bar with access to a garden overlooking the Mtkvari River.
These will be joined by a fitness centre and wellness area with a private thermal bathhouse and sauna. For added convenience, guests will have access to premium airport transfers and valet onsite parking too.
In Georgia, this property will join Wyndham Grand Tbilisi, Wyndham Batumi, Ramada By Wyndham Tbilisi Old City and Ramada Encore Tbilisi in Wyndham’s portfolio, with 11 more hotels currently in the pipeline.
