Wyndham Hotels & Resorts has signed for a co-located Wyndham Grand hotel and residences on Georgia’s Black Sea coastline.

Wyndham Grand Batumi Gonio and Wyndham Grand Residences Batumi Gonio are both expected to open in 2026.

State-of-the-art facilities

The hotel will be set on a hill with views of the Gonio-Kvariati coast and feature 300 modern guestrooms and suites and state-of-the-art leisure facilities, including a variety of restaurants and bars. The upper-upscale property will offer guests a spa with steam and dry saunas, a variety of treatments including wine therapy and phytotherapy, as well as indoor and outdoor pools and a fitness centre.

Wyndham Grand Batumi Gonio will also offer a large banquet hall to host conferences as well as weddings.

Home comforts

The residences complex is set to offer 755 apartments, suites and townhouses. Guests will have access to Wyndham Grand Batumi Gonio’s facilities, including all restaurants, bars and wellness areas.

Wyndham Grand Residences Batumi Gonio will also be suitable extended-stay accommodation for families, thanks to its children’s playgrounds and pools, which will be heated throughout winter. The property will also offer a Halal-Spa and a medical rehabilitation centre.

Project partners

Wyndham Grand Batumi Gonio and Wyndham Grand Residences Batumi Gonio will be operated by Aimbridge Hospitality, a third-party hotel management company with a portfolio of more than 1,550 branded and independent properties in 49 countries around the world.

The co-located properties will be developed by European Village, a company specialised in the construction of real estate in Georgia.

Dimitris Manikis, president for Europe, Middle East, Eurasia and Africa, Wyndham Hotels & Resorts, said: “Georgia is a world-renowned destination for its culture, history and nature.
