Already the leading international hotel brand group in Turkey, Wyndham is pushing to grow faster in other key EMEA markets

Wyndham Hotels is accelerating its coverage across EMEA, now having more than 720 hotels open within the region.

The company achieved a 5% organic growth year on year, and signed 27 new deals in the first half of 2025 as it focuses on high growth country markets. In addition, new strategic partnerships are set to grow the presence of the Super 8 brand, across Saudi Arabia, Spain and Portugal.

The group’s hotels already open across EMEA delivered a strong performance for the first half of 2025, with revpar up 7% on average across the region. The additional signings also helped towards a twentieth quarter running of growth in the group’s pipeline. As of the middle of 2025, the figure has grown to 225,000 rooms under contract.

The latest additions to the EMEA portfolio included the Dolce by Wyndham Siracusa, Monasteri Golf and Spa in Sicily, a hotel created from a historic ecclesiastical building. And in Turkey, the Signature Cave Cappadocia joined Wyndham’s Trademark Collection, promising guests the unique experience of staying in a cave building.

“With more than 720 hotels now open across EMEA, we’re seeing incredible momentum,” said Dimitris Manikis, Wyndham’s president for EMEA. “Travel is thriving and we’re meeting that demand with a growing portfolio that reflects the energy and diversity of this region. With new signings in markets like Iberia and Saudi Arabia, we’re not just growing – we’re creating new opportunities for our partners and giving travellers even more great places to stay across the region.”

In key country markets, Wyndham’s brands are making a substantial impact. In Turkey, for example, Wyndham is now the largest international brand presence, with over 125 hotels. Its brands are also growing fast in India, with recent openings including a Ramada Encore By Wyndham at Lucknow Airport, the Ramada Cox’s Bazar Kolatoli Beach, and Wyndham Garden Jim Corbett Chhoi.

New market openings are happening all the time, adding to the variety of the portfolio. In Kazakhstan, Wyndham has recently added Tor’re Astana to its Trademark Collection, and launched the Wyndham Residences Aqkol. And in Georgia, the La Quinta brand has been launched in Batumi.

For the group’s Super 8 brand, the future in EMEA is looking more exciting. In May, Wyndham signed an agreement with local partner Le Park Concord, to launch the brand across Saudi Arabia. Expectations are for up to 100 hotels to open over the next decade. A month prior, a similar agreement was signed with hotel developer Soliteight Hotel Projects, to launch the brand in Spain and Portugal. There, the aspiration is to grow a portfolio as large as 40 Super 8 hotels.

And across established European markets, Wyndham’s brands continue to thrive. Currently under construction are Vienna House branded hotels in Oldenburg, Germany, where the former Aspire Hotel is being rebranded; and at Vienna airport, where a 510 room Vienna House Easy hotel will open in late 2025.
