A 510-key, 45-storey hotel has made its debut, sporting a stylish design that’s inspired by the hip Chelsea neighbourhood on the west side of Manhattan.

This new property is home to an array of exciting facilities, including a terrace serving cocktails in memorable surroundings.

A prime location

Hyatt Place New York Chelsea spans 45 storeys and comprises 510 contemporary guestrooms designed for both business and leisure travellers, complete with in-room amenities like plush bedding and dedicated workspaces. Its accommodation offers unobstructed views of the Empire State Building and One World Trade Center, while there’s also a business centre, a fitness centre and 24-hour food options.

“As New York City continues to reopen, grow and thrive economically, we are excited to add to the momentum by welcoming the world’s second largest Hyatt Place hotel to the area,” said Gary Maida, general manager, Hyatt Place New York Chelsea. “With our intuitively designed social spaces and guestrooms with dedicated work and sleep areas, our multitasking guests can easily accomplish what they need to do while on the road in the city that never sleeps.”

Somewhere to socialise, work and unwind

During their stay, visitors can unwind in guestrooms containing Hyatt Grand beds, comfortable work desks and modern technological innovations like Google Chromecast connectivity.

The Hyatt Place-branded hotel also offers a market selling grab-and-go items, plus an onsite bar specialising in regionally inspired food and drink. Meanwhile, the fitness centre is equipped with cardio strength-training equipment, and The Terrace with retractable roof serves classic cocktails as well as providing space for private events of up to 80 people.

The property is centrally located in Manhattan’s Chelsea neighbourhood, which has helped inspire its design aesthetic. This vibrant area is known for its brownstone architecture, strong creative community and proximity to prominent attractions like the Empire State Building, Chelsea Market, The Highline and Hudson Yards.
