Despite the huge challenges facing the US hospitality sector, Marriott International’s premium brand Renaissance Hotels is on the verge of launching its first property in Wisconsin.
Renaissance Milwaukee West will open its doors to guests in August 2020 and offer a new, luxurious destination in the US state of Wisconsin.
We find out more about this stunning property and what guests can expect there.
A new hub for travellers and locals
The 12-storey hotel will feature 196 modern rooms and suites decked out with the latest in room technology and high-quality amenities.
Expressive furnishings and daring design elements will represent the art of garment creation and fashion by drawing on the shapes of tools and materials commonly used in the trade. And the hotel’s extensive facilities will include a fitness centre on the 12th floor, a lobby bar, a club lounge for Marriott Bonvoy members and a rooftop events space with panoramic views.
“We are honoured to be opening the first Renaissance hotel in the state of Wisconsin to serve our local community members and visitors to Wauwatosa and Milwaukee areas,” said Vik Khokhar, general manager, Renaissance Milwaukee West Hotel.
“It’s a symbol of pride and optimism in these unprecedented times. Travel is an essential part of our lives to discover something new.
“We look forward to the very near future when we can celebrate with our guests, all the while extending authentic services and unveiling this clean, safe and stylish environment that will add new colours to their experiences. From the moment of arrival until they depart, guests can expect to immerse themselves into design elements that are intriguing and unexpected in many ways.”
A central option for leisure and business guests
Situated only a few minutes from Downtown Milwaukee, the new Renaissance property is close to the likes of Milwaukee County Research Park and the Medical College of Wisconsin. On top of this, guests will have easy access to destinations such as Milwaukee County Zoo, Miller Park, Historic Third Ward, Wauwatosa Village, Wisconsin Expo Center, Fiserv Forum and more.
Meanwhile, event organisers will doubtless appreciate its 9,864 sq ft of flexible meeting spaces. These include a 4,500 sq ft high-end ballroom, which can be divided into three sections.
The project, developed in partnership with HKS Holdings, will be managed by Concord Hospitality Enterprises.
