Waldorf Astoria arrives in style in Mexico
Waldorf Astoria has long been a brand associated with a certain type of upscale luxury, but more often than not in an urban context. Well, the newest property under the brand’s umbrella is breaking the mould for sure, by offering an idyllic oasis in the heart of the tropics in Los Cabos, Mexico. A popular haunt with the rich and famous, Los Cabos will be home to Waldorf Astoria’s first Mexican hotel, and is a rebrand of a well known property, The Resort at Pedregal, which will become the Waldorf Astoria Los Cabos Pedregal.
Dino Michael, global head, Waldorf Astoria Hotels & Resorts, spoke of the brand’s foray into Mexico, saying, “As the brand’s first property to debut in Mexico, Waldorf Astoria Los Cabos Pedregal showcases the brand’s commitment to expanding our luxury portfolio to some of the world’s most sought-after destinations. We look forward to combining the resort’s exclusive environment and guest-focused comforts with the brand’s unparalleled commitment to personal service, and together, ensuring our guests have the experience of a lifetime.”
