Can a toilet be a designer piece without compromising functionality or hygiene?

This was the question that Duravit explored together with the Italian industrial designer Antonio Bullo. And their collaboration bore fruit: a toilet that combines a hygienic ceramic interior with a customizable exterior made from DuroCast Smooth. The design includes three surface finishes that are available in different colors. The toilet is made from two parts that are a perfect fit for one another: a ceramic toilet interior and a mineral-material exterior that is pleasantly soft to the touch. The unique material combination offers the best of both worlds: the customizable exterior provides maximum design versatility combined with maximum hygiene thanks to the ceramic toilet interior.
