Unidrain adds unobtrusive and elegant style to Danish spa
When creating their spa, Hotel Fjordgaarden selected Unidrain Highline Custom floor drains for their elegant yet unobtrusive style. These linear drains are designed to be almost invisible, by enclosing the surface with custom cut tiles they blend into the floor.
The Hotel Fjordgaarden in Ringkøbing in Denmark is a perfect example of how to combine traditional Danish style with new and exciting design features. The hotel is situated next to the Ringkøbing Fjord originally built in 1967, it was refurbished in 2019 when they also expanded the space to include a luxurious spa.
Aesthetics was a top priority when designing the spa and this is reflected in the luxurious accessories and bathroom solutions chosen for the spa.
Every detail of the spa was carefully considered, the style is well thought-out, with large, rustic tiles and wood panelling. The spa was fitted with linear drains from Unidrain, renowned for its stylish, minimalistic products. The hotel chose Unidrain’s HighLine Custom drain, to suit the spa’s elegant and fashionable look.
The solution provides a discreet drain, where the familiar grate is replaced by custom-cut tiles that match the surrounding floor. The Highline Custom drain with the tile covering produces an elegant finish and a beautiful style. It’s barely noticeable because it slopes so discreetly into the floor.
The discreet drain has been installed around both the pools as well as in the sauna and shower areas. The elegant style doesn’t stop in the spa as the lounge area around it is also equipped with the stylish linear drains.
