Swing and Enjoy collection at Kivotos

With its outdoor collections, Ethimo plays a leading role in two exclusive resorts, the Kivotos hotel and villas in Santorini and luxury hotel Amara in Cyprus.

Kivotos is located in Imerovigli in the heart of the caldera, and is one of the most elegant and sophisticated hospitality concepts on this, the southern pearl of the Cyclades archipelago.

With its amazing ebony-colour buildings inspired by the island’s volcano, Kivotos stands out thanks to its privileged position – considered the best for enjoying the sunsets and spectacular views of the caldera and the sea – and its capacity to perfectly balance style, nature and design with the local architecture.

The five suites and two villas, with their carefully studied details that ensure maximum wellbeing and comfort for guests, make Kivotos a unique resort with real charm.

Ethimo, with its iconic lounge and dining collections Knit and Swing, designed by Patrick Norguet, and its eclectic dining tables Enjoy, is a main player on the panoramic terrace of the restaurant and on some of the terraces belonging to the exclusive suites.

Thanks to its warm, refined Mediterranean style and the contemporary design of its furnishings, Ethimo has proven to be the ideal interpreter for enhancing and adding a special touch to the different outdoor spaces at the hotel. Teak, metal, woven rope, soft cushions upholstered with specifically customised outdoor fabrics and tiled surfaces are the alternating elements that create welcoming solutions all about beauty, functionality and originality.

Luxury hotel Amara, a name that derives from the ancient Greek word ‘Amarantos’ meaning eternal, was created to ensure its guests would experience truly unique relaxation, enjoying absolute comfort and wellbeing without end.

In addition to the bedrooms and exclusive suites, with sea views, the hotel also has a spa, sports centre, swimming pools – one with a waterfall – bars and star restaurants such as Matsuhisa and Ristorante Locatelli, run by Giorgio Locatelli.

Ethimo outdoor furnishings have been picked to enhance the outdoor spaces of the main bars and restaurants at Amara. In detail, the collections chosen are the Kilt dining armchairs, designed by Marcello Ziliani, and Nicolette, designed by Patrick Norguet; with freestanding Carrè lamps lighting up the porticos that link the different areas.

These Ethimo articles play an important role in defining the character of their settings, lending them an understated, refined, contemporary look.

Thanks to the many outdoor solutions in its catalogue, the quality of the materials used and its attention to detail, which ensure that the articles are not just beautiful but also solid and durable, Ethimo meets the most sophisticated needs of the contract and hôtellerie sector.

This is why Ethimo is increasingly the go-to choice for projects in the hospitality sector in Italy and worldwide.
