88 square-shaped and 14 hexagonal centre-mast models provide pleasant shade at the hotel’s several pools and restaurant.
The new Four Seasons Astir Palace Hotel, opened in the spring of 2019, is located on the Greek pine-covered peninsula of Astir. Only a few kilometres from the historic centre of Athens, this exclusive hotel offers direct access to the Aegean Sea.
On the 30-acre peninsula, the five-star hotel complex spans the newly refurbished Nafsika building from the 1950s, the Arion House, which is designed in the Bauhaus style, and 61 bungalows. The entire hotel complex has been renovated and redesigned by Greek architects Aeter and K-Studio, along with the renowned Meyer Davis Studio and Martin Brudnizki Design Studio.
In total, the architects chose more than 100 Tuuci parasols for the outdoor area. 88 square-shaped designs from the Vineyard Fiberflex Classic collection provide pleasant shade at the hotel’s several pools. With Sunbrella coverings (Ø 2.25 m) in ‘natural’ colour and with classic centre-masts, these shade systems provide enough space for comfortable loungers and small seating areas.
On the restaurant terrace and at the bar, the Vineyard Fiberflex Classic umbrellas screen off the sunshine. The 14 hexagonal centre-mast models (Ø 3 m) with Sunbrella coverings in the ‘natural’ colour with blue fabric trim make for a pleasant eyecatcher.
The chosen Tuuci parasols are characterised by their exclusive masts that feature the organic-looking Teak wood reproduction finish with a ‘weathered’ look and fit in harmoniously with the furniture of Four Seasons Astir Palace. The durable material from the marine sector is extremely robust and has the advantage that it requires no care and can withstand all weather conditions.
The models of the Vineyard collection also come with Fiberglass struts, which guarantee particularly strong stability, even in punishing coastal wind conditions.
