TOPHOTELWORLDTOUR returns to Dubai
TOPHOTELPROJECTS’ now-famous series of boutique networking events brings together hospitality industry professionals from all sectors to network, learn and engage.
The boutique networking event series kicked off 2019 in fine style on February 7 in London’s Nobu Hotel Shoreditch, and as the year has gone on, has landed in destinations as diverse as Barcelona, Los Angeles, and now, coming out of summer and into the latter half of the year, in Dubai.
The upcoming event will offer delegates a chance to get insider insight into the Middle East’s hospitality industry with stats, facts, trends and figures presented from all sectors of the hotel world.
Glittering speakers and panel discussion
The boutique hospitality networking event will feature a healthy dose of networking opportunities, with the eight “Change Table” sessions peppered throughout the morning and afternoon, designed to allow every delegate to meet every other attendee.
There will be four keynote presentations around the topics of networking, trends in design and the economy, and developments in the Middle East.
TOPHOTELPROJECTS Founder & CEO Rolf W. Schmidt will address the audience on the status of the Middle Eastern market in terms of hotel development, the region’s pipeline and who the biggest players in the industry are at the moment.
We are delighted to welcome back familiar faces, some of whom have been with us on many different occasions all over the world. The list of confirmed speakers at TOPHOTELWORLDTOUR Dubai so far include Tim Shepherd from Aedas, Paul Boldy from Wyndham Hotels and Resorts, Kimberly Brown from Kimberly Brown Architects, Saana Azzam from MENA Speakers and Hakan Ozkasikci from Kerzner International.
The panel discussion in Dubai will focus on how an increasing pipeline of new hotels is putting sustained pressure on RevPARs and ADRs and how existing hotels are coping with the competition, using technology and F&B brands.
On the panel are Paul Boldy, Regional Manager of Architecture, Design & Construction – Wyndham Hotels UAE; Bachir Rajji, Senior Engineering Director at Radisson Hotel; Shaimaa Hamza, Development Director, Head of Projects and Engineering, National Corporation for Hotels and Tourism; and Mike Sievwright, Vice President Design and Construction, MGM Resorts International in Dubai.
In Dubai, three amazing hotel design projects will compete for the Creative Spark prize. Creative Spark is a competition between three architects/interior designers where delegates act as judges. Candidates present their projects and further discuss their work as part of a panel discussion. It’s the perfect opportunity for delegates to catch up on the latest hotel projects and hospitality design trends in general. You’ll have to attend the conference to find out who wins!
