Attendees spanned the board across all sectors of the hospitality industry, from operations, supply and investment to architecture and design. Participants arrived early to the recently refurbished Pullman Berlin Schweizerhof hotel, which itself was included in the Creative Spark section, and got straight into their first networking session that followed the welcome address and reception.

Networking, connections and fun

, executive director for the International Society of Hospitality Consultants, considers herself a professional conference attendee, and said that she loved the networking aspects of the event and lauded the high quality of the content. She said that she learned some new networking tips that she will be putting into practice and that the round table networking sessions were a great opportunity to connect with other industry professionals. , chairman of Meninger Hotels, was delighted with the opportunity to meet so many people in the fields of technology and design, who, from his perspective, could be potential new contacts for his fast growing company, which is in the process of building 15 new hotels.
