TOPHOTELWORLDTOUR 2019 kicks off with return to London
TOPHOTELWORLDTOUR London will convene leaders of the hotel industry at the swanky Nobu Hotel Shoreditch on February 7th
2019 is set to get off to a flying start with the first TOPHOTELWORLDTOUR event of the year returning to London on February 7th. This time around, the event will be held at one of city’s hottest new hotels, the Nobu Hotel Shoreditch. We take a look inside the event to see what’s in store for delegates.
Returning to London
2018 was one of the biggest years for TOPHOTELPROJECTS and their now-famous TOPHOTELWORLDTOUR series of boutique networking events. Industry professionals from all corners of the globe gathered in an array of diverse regions over the past 12 months to network, learn and engage, and what a year it was.
This set the scene for an even bigger and better schedule this year, which will kick off on February 7th with the inaugural event taking place in London’s Nobu Hotel Shoreditch.
Speakers and schedule
As with every TOPHOTELWORLDTOUR event, there will be a healthy dose of networking opportunities, with the eight “Change Table” sessions peppered throughout the morning and afternoon, designed to allow every delegate to meet every other attendee.
There will be four keynote presentations around the topics of networking, trends in the economy, and innovation.
TOPHOTELPROJECTS CEO Rolf W. Schmidt will address the audience on the status of the European market in terms of hotel development, the continent’s pipeline and who the biggest players in the industry are at the moment.
We are delighted to welcome back familiar faces such as Heleri Rande who will moderate a panel discussion on how to maximize profits from hotel F&B outlets, and the role of strategic design thinking in the process.
The list of confirmed speakers at TOPHOTELWORLDTOUR London so far include Christopher Barrat from Greystone Consulting, Holly Hallam from DesignLSM, Tim Shepherd and Alia Centofanti from Aedas London, Ines Klemm from Latrace and Can Faik from SPACE and Hotel Spec.
In London, three amazing creations will compete for the Creative Spark prize. Creative Spark is a competition between three architects/interior designers where delegates act as judges. Candidates present their projects and further discuss their work as part of a panel discussion. It’s the perfect opportunity for delegates to catch up on the latest hotel projects and hospitality design trends in general.
In London, the three Creative Spark finalists are The Residence Inn in Ghent, the Hotel Arlberg in Lech and the LUX North Male Atoll in the Maldives.
