The Tempo by Hilton lifestyle brand debuts in Nashville

Hilton has debuted its Tempo by Hilton lifestyle brand in the Music City with the opening of Tempo by Hilton Nashville Downtown.

This is the second Tempo by Hilton hotel to open in the United States. This new contemporary lifestyle brand from Hilton is designed for the rhythm of life.

Brand debut in Nashville

In partnership with HRI Hospitality, Hilton has launched the 306-room Tempo by Hilton Nashville Downtown in the heart of downtown Nashville, just steps from Broadway, Bridgestone Arena and other popular attractions. The property is owned by HRI Hospitality, who also developed the hotel, and it is operated by HRI Lodging.

“With our target customer in mind, the modern achiever, it was a no brainer when choosing Nashville as a location for our newest Tempo by Hilton property, adding to the Music City footprint of outstanding accommodations by Hilton, and growing the new lifestyle brand,” said Kevin Morgan, Global Brand Head, Tempo by Hilton.

“We’re thrilled to watch this wellness-focused brand grow with the success of Tempo by Hilton Nashville, Times Square and the over 30 others in the pipeline including Raleigh and Louisville.”

Michael Coolidge, Chief Investment and Development Officer of HRI Hospitality, commented:, “HRI is ecstatic to bring this game-changing brand, offering a new lifestyle-focused accommodation to the heart of Nashville.”

“The property offers a unique stay catered to guests’ well-being from special wellness rooms, an expansive fitness centre to health-conscious culinary offerings including the exciting partnership with Bluestone Lane Café, Topgolf Swing Suites and more, in the premium location in the Nashville market.”

A new lifestyle destination

Designed to provide a place for both locals and hotel guests to gather, the hotel encompasses a wealth of inviting facilities including a fifth-floor sky lobby, rooftop outdoor bar and pool area, a state-of-the-art fitness centre and sprawling event space. The hotel houses Nashville’s first Bluestone Lane Café and the Lovelorn Lounge and Pool Bar.

The 16-storey hotel was designed by ESa, with interiors by Wimberly Interiors, and it was constructed by BELL Construction. Design elements reference the grand buildings of Nashville’s past with hints to Art Deco.

In the lobby, guests can make use of a hydration bar that’s been created in collaboration with Planet Water Foundation and Klean Kanteen. From here, guests can continue on to the fifth-floor Lovelorn Lounge & Pool Bar, offering the culinary creations of executive chef Eric Babula, as well as Bluestone Lane Café from the Australian-inspired coffee roaster, café and lifestyle brand.

The hotel features flexible common spaces for co-working, socialising and unwinding, and events are catered for in 9,500 sq ft of meeting and event space including a corner boardroom and The Debut Room and Terrace.

The accommodation here provides amenities to Power Up or Power Down, and there’s the option to stay in one of six wellness rooms, featuring a Peloton bike, or one of the hotel’s immersive Topgolf Swing Suites with golf simulators. The elevated two-bedroom Encore Suite provides impressive views from its wraparound patio.
