This hotel now set to take shape on Dublin’s Middle Abbey Street is slated to open in late 2025. The property is being created in partnership with Fitzwilliam Real Estate.
Meeting demand
The group’s second Dublin hotel, joining the 2024-opening Ruby Molly, will occupy a new building in Dublin’s city centre, close to cultural and touristic highlights of this city and within easy reach of the Temple Bar district.
Julian Mörs, Group Director Development at Ruby, said: “The Dublin hotel market has proven to be very resilient, even in times of crisis, with an ongoing high demand from national and international business and leisure travellers. Our second Ruby Hotel project in the Irish capital complements the first one perfectly.”
The 257-key property will embody the hotel’s group’s signature Lean Luxury philosophy.
A new lifestyle hub
The hotel group will realise this project in partnership with Dublin-based Fitzwilliam Real Estate, with the concept of its interiors led by Ruby’s own design team. Highlights of the second Dublin hotel will include a rooftop bar.
Noel Smyth, Managing Director, Fitzwilliam Real Estate, commented: “This new hotel will be a welcome addition to Dublin’s thriving tourism scene. It will be situated in an area which is steeped in national history in addition to being one of Dublin’s busiest shopping and leisure hot spots.”
“The area is served by exemplary transport links such as Heuston St, Connolly Station and benefits by being located directly on the Luas Red line public transport route which carries approximately 35 million people each year.”
