Occupying an idyllic spot in Providenciales, this Coleman Partners Architects-designed resort combines the natural beauty of its location with the Ritz-Carlton brand’s legendary service.

Coleman Partners Architects has taken inspiration from the surrounding environment and local Lucayan heritage for a design narrative that pays tribute to the island and its people.

A celebration of its setting

Rich wood and endemic flora are integrated throughout the 147 ocean-view guestrooms and suites, which include five three-storey penthouse suites with private rooftop plunge pools, of this beachfront resort overlooking the turquoise waters of the Caribbean Sea. A highlight of The Ritz-Carlton, Turks & Caicos’ abundant amenities is the Ritz-Carlton Club Lounge, which offers private check-in, dedicated Club Concierge and culinary presentations, as well as service at the beach.

Donna McNamara, vice president and global brand leader for The Ritz-Carlton, said: “We are thrilled to expand our global portfolio with the debut of The Ritz-Carlton, Turks & Caicos, a destination known for its stunning natural environment, which has long served as an alluring retreat for the world’s most discerning travellers. Whether enjoying a sunset sail or family snorkel from the resort’s private catamaran, Lady Grace, to relaxing poolside, The Ritz-Carlton, Turks & Caicos offers the perfect opportunity for our guests to recharge and reconnect while making lasting memories.”

John Hazard, general manager at The Ritz-Carlton, Turks & Caicos, added: “Reflecting the island’s genuine warmth and hospitality, The Ritz-Carlton, Turks & Caicos promises to be a beachfront haven for guests and locals alike.”

A broad lifestyle offering

Amenities within this new resort span gastronomy, wellness and events, with an activity offering for all ages. For example, guests can relax by the adults-only or recreational pools, take part in table games at The Casino at The Ritz-Carlton or participate in beach yoga. The Ritz-Carlton Spa also offers ocean-inspired therapies, and young guests are catered for through the Ritz Kids programme.

Dining venues within the resort, meanwhile, put a local twist on global cuisine. Coralli highlights just-picked produce along with freshly caught seafood, while BLT Steak specialises in steakhouse fare alongside dishes highlighting the island’s seasonal flavours.

Lastly, meetings and events are hosted across 20,000 sq ft of space, including a 4,900 sq ft ballroom, along with a selection of outdoor areas, not least an event lawn and grand promenade.
