The Ritz-Carlton Dallas, Las Colinas is now welcoming its first guests following a year-long transformation of the former property.

When it opened at the end of January, this newly transformed property became the latest hotel to join The Ritz-Carlton‘s collection of over 110 hotels and resorts worldwide.

A property-wide transformation

Following its 2022 acquisition by Trinity Investments and Partners Group, this property with a 38-year legacy began to undergo a $55 million renovation. Newly open as The Ritz-Carlton Dallas, Las Colinas, the hotel now offers a fresh take on modern luxury in the scenic Las Colinas hills.

Acclaimed design firms Jeffrey Beers International and Leo A Daly have led the initial phase of this renovation, with enhancements including the lobby’s new Bar Juniper where design details draw inspiration from indigenous Texas vegetation.

The hotel’s 427 guest rooms have been redesigned to reflect the resort’s historical roots as the former Little Ranch on the Hills and other additions to the site include new event space spanning 80,000 sq ft.

The property lies on 400 acres of land just minutes from downtown Dallas. In this natural setting, features of the sprawling outdoor space include two 18-hole golf courses, with The Nelson Sports and Golf Club then lying adjacent to the resort.

Upcoming enhancements

Imminent and forthcoming enhancements to the resort now include the February opening Knife Italian restaurant by Michelin-starred chef John Tesar and this will be followed by the debut of Campo Coffee & Provisions.

The resort’s 14,000-sq-ft spa is transitioning into The Ritz-Carlton Spa, and the resort pool is also undergoing a complete reimagination. The Ritz-Carlton Club is also due to open in February with Texas-inspired culinary concepts and invite-only cultural experiences.

“Our commitment is to deliver The Ritz-Carlton’s exceptional service in a destination that truly distinguishes itself,” said Tod Morrow, General Manager for The Ritz-Carlton Dallas, Las Colinas. “We are eager to introduce our guests, whether local or visitors, to innovative offerings and distinctive experiences that forge lasting memories.”

Jamie Kerr, Vice President and Global Brand Leader, The Ritz-Carlton, added: “The Ritz-Carlton Dallas, Las Colinas is a highly anticipated addition to the brand. The property presents a wonderful opportunity to savor Texas’ natural landscape while indulging in luxurious accommodations, all while maintaining access to the city—a unique offering that we are delighted to provide our guests.”
