During 2020, TKHS continued to deliver turnkey services for FF&E and OS&E for projects in a wide range of geographical locations from Cyprus in Europe and the Maldives in the Indian Ocean to down under in Australia. In particular, TKHS was proud to have had the opportunity to support Chip Mong Group with the pre-opening logistics for the Hyatt Regency Phnom Penh property in Cambodia.
The first Hyatt hotel in the Cambodian capital and the second Hyatt hotel operating in Cambodia, the 247-room property is the largest hotel from a global brand in the city!
Despite the challenges brought on by the global pandemic and restrictions on shipping from Europe and Asia, as well as the compression in schedule on the last quarter for a just-in-time delivery for the opening, OS&E inventory consisting of over 1,600 line items with 1,077 cubic metre volume had been processed and shipped across 63 split shipments.
Cambodia is known for its unique and complex customs clearance requirements. However, thanks to TKHS’ intricate knowledge and familiarity with OS&E product, the customs clearance requirements and process was able to be managed smoothly and efficiently. TKHS’ onsite project management also seamlessly managed the delivery to site and load in of all items
