Sydney hotel set for revamp following Holiday Inn switch

An existing property near Bondi Beach will undergo an extensive refurbishment of its rooms, lobby and guest spaces after joining IHG’s Holiday Inn brand family.

One of the world’s most prolific hotel brands has secured an attractively located site in the capital of New South Wales.

Making a splash next to Bondi Beach

IHG has partnered with La Vie Hotels & Resorts to debut Holiday Inn & Suites Sydney Bondi Junction, which caters for both beachgoers and business travellers. Already welcoming its first guests, the British hotel giant’s latest signing further illustrates Holiday Inn’s continued growth across Australasia.

The property, previously known as Quest Bondi Junction, will now undergo an extensive renovation programme encompassing its rooms, lobby and guest spaces renovation in line with the IHG brand’s next-generation design. After the work is completed, the 82-room scheme will feature a bright lobby, a complimentary gym and an appealing all-day dining restaurant.

An all-suite offering

As one of Holiday Inn’s all-suite properties, every room comes with a kitchenette, enabling guests to cater for themselves if required.

The hotel is located at the heart of Bondi Junction on Spring Street. From here, guests can easily reach the Westfield Bondi Junction shopping centre and the iconic Bondi Beach, while. business travellers are just 5 km away from Sydney’s Central Business District.

Following in the wake of Crowne Plaza Sydney Coogee Beach, InterContinental Sydney Double Bay and Holiday Inn Potts Point, this is IHG’s fourth hotel in Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs. The property joins 42 open or pipeline Holiday Inn hotels across Australasia and the Pacific region.
