North Wales has welcomed its first internationally branded hotel, Hilton Garden Inn Snowdonia – conveniently located next to the world’s first inland surf lagoon.
The Adventure Parc Snowdonia leisure complex boasts a new hotel carrying the name of one of Hilton Worldwide’s most prolific brands.
Hilton Garden Inn makes a splash in Snowdonia
Adventure Parc Snowdonia, which bears the distinction of hosting the world’s first inland surf lagoon, now has a hotel to accommodate visitors looking to try its impressive array of activities, ranging from surfing, paddle boarding and freshwater swimming to mountain biking, ziplining and caving. Hilton Garden Inn Snowdonia boasts 106 rooms spread over four floors, and provides the perfect base for both adrenaline junkies and those looking for some rest and relaxation.
Steve Cassidy, managing director for the UK and Ireland at Hilton, said: “We’re thrilled to unveil such a special hotel in one of Europe’s most unspoiled landscapes. Hilton Garden Inn Snowdonia really does have something for everyone, balancing exhilarating activities and adventures with facilities to relax and rejuvenate.
“Hilton has a long history of thoughtfully opening up destinations to international visitors and the news of the return of leisure travel is a very welcome development as we all look forward to travelling again. This year alone, we’re set to open 14 new properties across the UK, as we continue to extend Hilton’s renowned hospitality to even more new and exciting destinations.”
A spa with spectacular views
Hotel guests can recharge their batteries at the Wave Garden Spa, which features hydrotherapy pools, relaxation pods and a hammam, as well as a Himalayan salt sauna, and indoor and outdoor treatment areas with spectacular views of Snowdonia National Park. Tasty bites can be enjoyed at Zephyr’s Bar & Grill, meanwhile, and there’s also a 24-hour fitness centre and four flexible meeting rooms that can hold up to 300 delegates.
Alan Roberts, global head of Hilton Garden Inn, said: “Snowdonia is a stunning addition to our rapidly growing Hilton Garden Inn brand, combining upscale yet affordable accommodation with elevated amenities and warm service. This is a hugely exciting property that will no doubt attract loyal guests from all over the world.”
