The design studio founded by acclaimed designer Robbyn Carter has unveiled interior renderings showing how the luxurious private residences will look at Mondrian Gold Coast.
Exciting plans are fast taking shape for this landmark development, which promises to provide a sanctuary for opulent coastal living, where residents will benefit from a prime beachfront location in Burleigh Heads.
Gold Coast beckons for Mondrian
Marking the Accor brand’s debut in Australia, this Mondrian property will occupy a highly coveted site in Burleigh Heads. Expected to reach completion in 2022, Mondrian Gold Coast’s 25-storey private residential tower will house 89 two-, three- and four-bedroom residences in total.
The property’s penthouses promise to be the pinnacle of luxury living, with noteworthy amenities including an open kitchen, study, living room and bar with full-height wine wall, complemented by far-reaching sea views. There’ll also be sculpted walls for visitors to admire – which are being designed to look as though they’ve been smoothed by the wind – creating an intuitive flow between each space.
Nature-inspired design
Interiors here will draw inspiration from the shorelines, landscape and sculpted sands of Burleigh Heads. By taking this approach, the designers plan to instil the feeling of a beach house and create a sense of harmony with the surrounding environment.
Moreover, organic textures and windswept forms should help create a serene space, with walls of glass then providing uninterrupted sea views. And sand-like tones will draw on the beauty of the Gold Coast, while the light timber veneer and smoked bronze hardware of the kitchen will cleverly reference the Australian earth.
