Set on the shore of beautiful Lake Windermere, Storrs Hall is one of the Lake District’s most luxurious hotels.
Sitting in 17 acres of private and peaceful grounds projecting into the lake, the hotel takes advantage of the long views along the lake up to the mountains.
The new lakeside suites were opened in July 2020 and Havwoods was chosen as the wood flooring supplier. The design brief was to achieve a classic look while creating a natural aesthetic that reflected the outdoor environment that the suites look out onto.
The Ferro Blockboard was chosen from the Italian Collection, for a stunning finish that will look stylish and timeless for years to come.
As well as being aesthetically beautiful, this board also provided a practical choice for the heavy footfall passing through the suites each day.
Now, each self-catering suite provides a luxurious retreat with its own private terraces and cedarwood hot tub, floor-to-ceiling glazed walls and underfloor heating – finished to perfection with Havwoods wood flooring.
