The fast-growing Irish company is preparing to open the largest Wilde Aparthotels by Staycity property to date within a £203 million development in the UK capital.

The premium Wilde Aparthotels by Staycity brand will soon have a presence in the Paddington area of West London.

A convenient base in Paddington

Due to open on 14 December 2021, Wilde Aparthotels by Staycity, London, Paddington will feature 249 design-led studios and one-bedroom apartments in total. There’ll also be a range of shared amenities for guests to make use of, including a lounge, gym, breakfast station, bar and guest laundry.

Atul Prakash, previously general manager of Staycity’s first Wilde Aparthotels-branded scheme in Covent Garden, has been appointed to the same post at this new Paddington property.

“We will be focusing heavily on the guest journey and making Wilde the best place to stay as well as delivering various guest activities including wellness awareness and working closely with the local business community,” he said.

The scheme forms part of a £203 million Paddington development and benefits from its proximity to two royal parks, the Little Venice neighbourhood and Heathrow Airport.

Staycity continues to expand

In 2022, the Dublin-headquartered company is planning to add a premium Wilde Aparthotels property in Manchester’s St Peter’s Square and mid-market Staycity Aparthotels schemes in Ireland, Germany and France.

Staycity’s CEO and co-founder Tom Walsh said: “We are particularly pleased that our Wilde Aparthotels brand is part of this impressive build and are proud to have been joint venture developers on the project. London plays a pivotal part in our ongoing European expansion and Paddington, together with our properties in Aldgate, Covent Garden, Deptford, Greenwich and Heathrow, give Staycity a strong footing across the city, demonstrating its strategic importance as one of Europe’s key destinations for leisure and corporate travellers.”
