Two luxury lodges in the Hérault, with terraces furnished by Tribù, invite guests to relax and revive immersed in nature.
The two eco-luxury cabins at Souki Lodges & Spa in the spectacular Hérault region of southern France offer a complete escape into unspoiled nature. These seductive retreats are open to the views and scents of the wooded hills and aromatic garrigue that surround them, blending restful, contemporary interiors with a terrace furnished with our Mood, Senja and Branch collections.
The lodges have been carefully created with every design detail, natural finish and soft colour adding to the experience of total relaxation. Designed by Fabien Morcel and Gilles Pascal and opened in 2021, Souki Lodges are hidden at the end of a path edged by ancient oak trees. Organic, curved wood rooflines complement the folding hills while floor-to-ceiling windows embrace the dramatic landscape at the foot of the Pic de Vissou.
The concept was to immerse guests in nature using the architecture to blur indoor and outdoor spaces and frame the views. Inside, designer furniture, pale wood and marble create cocoons of contemporary, low-key luxury. The eye is always drawn out to the tree-fringed terrace and the view beyond.
On the spacious terrace, a Mood daybed is placed, with handy Dunes side table nearby, to catch the sunlight flickering through the tree canopy. Nomad poufs add informal spaces to sit and relax. A deep-seated Senja sofa with ceramic-topped console table is the perfect, indulgent space in which to sit back and breath in the warm, scented air. Fabrics in shades of rust, ochre, slate grey and oatmeal are restful, warm and refined.
A Branch bistro table and side chairs are slender and airy like the trees around them and the perfect size for two to enjoy an intimate breakfast.
Peaceful evenings are illuminated by subtle pools of light from the Monsieur Tricot floor lamps dotted around the terrace, glowing like fireflies in this haven of peace, a seductive, cocooning retreat in harmony with nature.
