The 305-room luxury hotel development, featuring interiors by Tara Bernerd & Partners, has started taking bookings for stays from the beginning of June 2022 onwards.

This highly anticipated design-led property promises to pair exciting dining concepts with vibrant social spaces and a rejuvenating wellness offering.

A major addition to LA

The forthcoming Tara Bernerd & Partners-designed Conrad Los Angeles at The Grand LA, the ambitious Frank Gehry-designed mixed-use development, has begun accepting reservations from 1 June 2022. A contemporary 305-key hotel located right in the heart of the action, it represents the first site for Hilton Worldwide’s celebrated luxury hotel brand in the Golden State.

“As we prepare to open our doors, we are excited to welcome guests to discover Conrad Los Angeles’ world-class hospitality and ground-breaking design,” said Adam Heffron, general manager for Conrad Los Angeles. “The luxury property will offer guests an elevated southern California lifestyle experience and unparalleled access to downtown Los Angeles’ thriving cultural scene.”

Exciting culinary concepts

The 28-storey property will provide the downtown area with a striking new landmark, providing expansive views over the city from its rooftop terrace with private pool deck.

Tara Bernard & Partners is crafting interiors that reflect its signature luxury approach, taking inspiration from Gehry’s statement architecture. Interestingly, the hotel’s design draws on the West Coast Modernist movement and the culture of this part of LA, while floor-to-ceiling windows blur the lines between indoors and outdoors.

Guests will be able to experience two dining concepts by Chef José Andrés and ThinkFoodGroup: an open-air rooftop dining destination featuring a Latin- and Asian-inspired menu, as well as poolside options, and a second restaurant dedicated to Spanish flavours and southern California’s farm-fresh ingredients. Both culinary concepts are to be located on the tenth floor, close to a lobby bar celebrating the spirit of the desert and the Pacific Ocean.
