The boutique Kenwood Inn & Spa in California’s Sonoma Valley has marked the completion of a series of renovations enhancing the guest experience offered here.

Everything from the guest rooms and signature suite to the common areas and lush grounds of this hotel has been given a makeover as part of the multi-phase transformation project.

An enhanced stay

Kenwood Inn & Spa is one of 17 California properties in the Four Sisters Inns Collection. This particular site now stands out for its newly transformed spaces and enhanced guest experience.

“We are thrilled to unveil the remarkable transformation of Kenwood Inn & Spa,” said Tamara Mims, President and CEO of Four Sisters Inns.

“Every aspect of the redesign has been meticulously curated to further elevate the guest experience. With this renovation, Kenwood Inn & Spa brings unparalleled comfort and elevated luxury to the Four Sisters Collection.”

The newly enhanced guest experience includes a full breakfast each morning including chef-driven entrees, afternoon wine hour with cheese tasting, freshly-baked cookies, an evening cordial bar and chilled still and sparkling water at three new water stations.

A design makeover

Each guest room has been remodelled with decor now pairing soft creamy white textiles with warm beiges, dark wood tones and hints of hunter green.

Custom furnishings feature alongside abstract artwork featuring the colours of the Italian countryside. Amenities within these rooms include Tivoli Bluetooth audio players, Illy espresso machines and L’Occitane bath products.

The most luxurious accommodation option here is the hotel’s Tuscany Suite, which comes with a fireplace, a spa-inspired bathroom with a freestanding tub and views over the pool and vineyards.

The hotel’s social areas have also been elevated with attention paid to retaining their original character. The property now benefits from two new fire-pits, a water fountain and two remodelled cabanas by the main pool. The hotel’s warming pool features new couple’s lounge chairs draped with linen curtains and its waterfall wall is now styled with off-white stone.
