Sleep & Eat 2019 packed with leading suppliers to hotels, restaurants and bars
Kriskadecor: Mandarin Ducks & Noodles, Moscow will showcase their products at Sleep + Eat 2019.
Sleep & Eat, the eagerly anticipated event showcasing the innovative and the inspired in hospitality design, reveals some exhibitors at this year’s show.
Reflecting the growing convergence between hotel, restaurant and bar design, the exhibitor line-up includes many companies which supply all three sectors, as well as cruise ships and spas. They include: Ena Shaw Contract which designs, manufactures and installs soft furnishings; Tuuci, whose elegant outdoor umbrellas have re-defined shade technology and are designed to withstand the harshest environments; Arley House, creators of exclusive fabric collections; Kriskadecor, creator and supplier of bespoke metal elements, from wallcoverings to lighting; Arte, the Belgian brand which specialises in trendsetting wallcoverings and Skopos Fabrics.
As regular visitors to Sleep & Eat can vouch, this is an event where both established and up-andcoming manufacturers choose to launch their collections. Companies planning to present new products this year include: Morgan Furniture – its Rakino Collection of lounge chairs and tables designed by Tim Rundle, as well as a collection focused on “relaxed luxury”; Quasar Holland who will be launching “The Kabuki Collection” of room dividers, designed by Edward va Vliet; and Chelsom who will be previewing selected pieces from their Edition 27 Collection, officially launching in 2020, as well as showcasing Edition 26, an eclectic lighting collection that harnesses and refines the latest trends in finishes and materials.
Sleep & Eat is also renowned for introducing a raft of outstanding companies that are new to the event each year. This November’s show will see the debut of Tarkett, the worldwide supplier of innovative and sustainable floor coverings; YPRT, the Turkish manufacturer and fit-out contractor behind a number of recent Park Plaza and Novotel projects in Europe; Catalano, the Italian manufacturer of ceramic collections combining cutting edge technology with traditional craftmanship; and, from the UK, The Fine Cotton Compan.
As always, newcomers such as these, will be joined by an array of Sleep & Eat veterans, including Dornbracht, Bang & Olufsen, Laufen, Camira Fabrics, Roca, Faro Barcelona and Hansgrohe, to name but a few.
Jay Phillips, Managing Director of Hansgrohe UK, explains the enduring appeal of the event as an exhibitor: “Sleep & Eat continues to be a pivotal show for Hansgrohe, enabling us to present industryleading innovations to a highly engaged hospitality design audience. This year expect to see avantgarde concepts from AXOR that lay claim to perfection in design and craftsmanship, alongside the latest products from Hansgrohe that create new ways to enjoy water whilst meeting the highest standards of quality and functionality.”
