Selo and Enigma doors chosen for Old War Office redevelopment

A grade II*-listed building with a rich and unique history, the Old War Office was constructed in 1906 and was once used by Prime Minister Winston Churchill. Specified by architect EPR for their superior quality, performance and aesthetics, Enigma, Una and Quadra+ products will be used throughout.

Selo chosen for Old War Office redevelopment

Leading concealed, sliding and riser door system manufacturer Selo is to provide its premium Enigma sliding pocket door systems, Una timber leaf riser doorsets and Quadra+ riser concealed doorsets for the prestigious redevelopment of the Old War Office building in Whitehall, London.

A grade II*-listed building with a rich and unique history, the Old War Office was constructed in 1906 and was once inhabited by Britain’s most famous statesmen and spies, from Winston Churchill to Ian Fleming. After a significant transformation, it reopens this winter as The OWO with a flagship Raffles hotel, 85 branded residences and 11 restaurants and bars. Specified by architect EPR for their superior quality, performance and aesthetics, Enigma, Una and Quadra+ products will be used throughout the 760,000 sq ft.

The Selo technical team, which includes experts in fire safety and certification, will also be providing ongoing technical support via Selo’s Halo Assist programme.
