October 2021 will see the launch of a new CitySuites scheme next to the Select Property Group brand’s existing site, which overlooks some of Manchester’s most famous landmarks.
CitySuites Two aims to provide a ‘modern classic hospitality experience’ across 142 luxurious apartments.
The arrival of CitySuites Two
Located in the Embankment West area of Salford in northern England, this purpose-built CitySuites aparthotel on New Kings Head Yard will lie adjacent to the original CitySuites property, which boasts stellar views of Manchester Cathedral, the National Football Museum and the Manchester Arndale shopping centre. The 142-key development will house accommodation ranging from studios to five penthouse suites, along with high-quality amenities including a state-of-the-art gym, indoor 18m pool, relaxing spa pool and steam room, and residents-only coworking spaces.
Guests will benefit from the services and conveniences of a five-star hotel, not least housekeeping, 24-hour concierge, laundry and dry-cleaning services.

The hotel-meets-home hospitality experience
Head of interior design Kayleigh Millington has incorporated Mattison beds, bespoke bathrooms and fully fitted kitchens into each apartment, complemented by Nespresso coffeemakers, dishwashers, washing machines and GHD Air Hair Dryers.
The five penthouse suites occupy the property’s top three floors, including a three-bedroom duplex spanning 256 sq m of the 16th and 17th floors, with floor-to-ceiling windows and a wraparound balcony. These ultra-luxurious spaces feature SieMatic kitchens, BORA ovens, Lutron electric blinds, home theatre lighting systems and Bang & Olufsen sound systems.
Among the additional benefits for those checking in are bookable meeting room The Lounge, overlooking Embankment West courtyard, and access to the brasserie restaurant and bar Embankment Kitchen at the original CitySuites.
CitySuites Two is scheduled to open in October 2021.
