Scintillating new Kempinski hotel opens in Dubai
The Emerald Palace Kempinski has finally opened its doors to the public after much anticipation.
The Emerald Palace Kempinski, which is located on Dubai’s man-made Palm Jumeirah island, has finally opened its doors to the public after much anticipation. The opulent complex boasts 391 luxurious suites, rooms and villas in one of the Middle East’s most coveted destinations. We find out more.
Dubai’s new jewel
Kempinski’s latest offering has landed in Dubai. The Emerald Palace Kempinski recently opened in the UAE’s most popular destination, on an idyllic piece of land that lies on the West Crescent of Palm Jumeirah, a unique, man-made island that affords visitors panoramic views of the Arabian Gulf and back at the city of Dubai and some of its biggest landmarks, including the Burj Al Arab hotel.
Covering an immense area of 100,000 square meters, the hotel’s design is inspired by 18th century European palaces, and is a shimmering collection of terraces and domes that is offset by the verdant gardens that form its grounds and the glittering blue of the sea and sky beyond.
500 meters of private white sandy beach and faithful neoclassical architecture are sure to charm and wow guests, who will no doubt travel from far and wide to visit this already iconic hotel.
Luxurious destination, luxurious amenities
Guests traveling to the Emerald Palace will be treated to the kind of service you would expect of such an elegant and regal property.
The facilities and amenities that the hotel benefits from are surely a thing of indulgence. Guests can dine at Dubai’s first restaurant run by a three-Michelin Star chef — the miX by Alain Ducasse; pamper themselves at the 3,000 square meter Cinq Mondes spa; watch the newest releases at the island’s biggest private cinema and, of course, experience the best of everything that Dubai has to offer.
The Emerald Palace has been given the royal treatment, with 6,400 chandeliers gracing the common areas of the hotel, one of which has been created using 40,000 Swarovski crystals.
Rooms have a minimum area of 65 square meters, and each room and suite is decorated with impeccable taste and in a sophisticated, luxurious style.
The hotel’s Managing Director Sébastien Mariette said: “We are delighted to welcome our first guests at Emerald Palace Kempinski Dubai. The Palace is a magnificent architectural masterpiece that brings European craftsmanship to Middle East through its design and unique guest experiences, characterised by a product of the highest caliber.”
“Every single detail was carefully handcrafted; exquisite materials were meticulously selected from the best producers across Europe. Having such an outstanding Palace, our priority is to provide the highest quality service by exceeding our guests’ expectations and creating memories that will last a lifetime,” he added.
