Israeli hotel group Isrotel has revealed plans to open five new hotels during 2025. The major investment will grow the chain to 28 properties by the end of the year.
Isrotel aims to maintain its growth momentum over the coming years, with seven more hotel projects already secured for opening over the next five years. These include additions Eilat, Jerusalem, Tel Aviv and the Kinneret.
A spring of new hotel launches
The first of the 2025 additions is the upcoming Gymnasia Hotel in Tel Aviv, opening in the first quarter, with 145 guestrooms. It will be swiftly followed by the launch in March of the 147 room Ayelet Hotel, in the Upper Galilee and then the addition of a new address in Mitzpeh Ramon with the 128 room Daroma Hotel.
Into the second half of 2025, travellers should expect to see the arrival of the 44 room Kayma Hotel on the Dead Sea Shore. Featuring a seaside infinity pool, which some of the suites will open directly onto, the luxury resort will also have a large spa and several restaurants. The Kayma will be part of Isrotel’s growing Exclusive Collection. Around the end of the year, there will be a further launch with the opening of the Dizengoff 99 Hotel in Tel Aviv. The 130 room property will feature a rooftop pool, and gallery space.
Alongside investments in new hotels, the group is also ensuring its existing properties remain up to the mark, with a round of refurbishments. Hotels undergoing a refresh include the King Solomon in Eilat, which has the distinction of being the first ever Isrotel, and the Mitzpe HaYamim and Gomeh hotels.
Looking further ahead, Isrotel expects to open a new hotel in Jaffa in 2026. The 130 room property is being created from a heritage building, and will join the group’s Exclusive Collection. And a somewhat similar project will launch the following year in Jerusalem, again repurposing heritage assets to create a hotel with a unique atmosphere. The 250 room property, in the city’s Zion Square, will feature a four storey “top hat” above two heritage properties, with a rooftop pool among the many amenities of the hotel.
An ongoing pipeline of growth
Three more properties are planned for completion in 2027. These include the Leon Towers in Tel Aviv, featuring a 235 room hotel overlooking the sea. In Tel Aviv, a new hotel will be part of the Basel Complex development in the city. And overlooking Eilat’s North Beach will be a new, 200 room hotel that will be the city’s first to feature a rooftop pool.
Outside Israel, the group is also expanding via its sister company, with plans for a third hotel in Greece. The 218 room Adia hotel is next to open as part of the Aluma chain, launching in the coming months in the historic centre of Athens.
