Ritz-Carlton Bahrain appoints Agusti Curto Calbet as new hotel manager

Agusti Curto Calbet is returning to the Ritz-Carlton brand with his vast experience and passion for the hotel industry.
The Ritz-Carlton, Bahrain has appointed Agusti Curto Calbet as the new hotel manager.
Curto is returning to the brand, bringing with him vast experience and passion for the luxury hotel industry. In his new position as the hotel manager, he will assist General Manager Bernard de Villèle with hotel operations.
He will also lead hotel operations, and he will be responsible for overseeing the resort’s rooms division and Royal Beach Club facilities. His appointment comes just as the season is beginning in the Kingdom of Bahrain.

Curto, a true industry veteran
As mentioned, Curto is returning to the brand, bringing with him more than a decade of hospitality experience.
Curto rejoins The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company, LLC after formerly working with The Ritz-Carlton Powerscourt in Dublin, Ireland. His career path has also taken him to Hotel Arts Barcelona in Spain, where he served in several executive positions from 2003 to 2013.
Curto is originally from Barcelona, and his multilingual skills have helped him work across the globe, holding positions in both Europe and the Middle East, where he has served in senior Executive roles in the Spanish hotel chain BlueBay Hotels & Resorts as well as his most recent position as General Manager of the Wyndham Dubai Marina.
In addition to his long-served career, Curto also holds a Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Administration and Management from the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona and is a three-time national champion in cross-country running for his home country of Spain.
