Days Inn gets ready for a refresh and Wyndham is lauded for ethics and integrity in business

Days Inn to get an upgrade

Affordable luxury is all the rage these days, so it can be hard for budget brands like Days Inn to compete. This is why Wyndham is planning to give the brand a makeover and bring it in line with current hotel standards.

Learning from the success of the Super 8 brand revamp, Wyndham will have its Days Inn franchisees upgrade the quality of their sleep experience and invest in their overall service offering.

Wyndham Hotels & Resorts CEO Geoff Ballotti said, “We know from our experience with Super 8’s new brand standard that a thoughtful, cost-effective, refreshed programme could have a very meaningful impact on guest experience while driving favourable market share and operating margin improvements.”

Wyndham intends to roll out upgrades and improvements across most of its economy brands, with new prototypes to be launched in the future.

Wyndham recognised as one of the 2019 World’s Most Ethical Companies

2019 World’s Most Ethical Companies award

2019 marks the first time the Ethisphere Institute honored Wyndham Hotels & Resorts and recognised them as one of the 2019 World’s Most Ethical Companies.

The group received this prestigious accolade because of its business integrity and mission to offer everyone the opportunity to travel, something which has earned Wyndham significant brand loyalty over the years.

Wyndham strives to be an inclusive and diverse workplace, to offer staff the opportunity to grow and progress in their careers and to protect the civil and statutory rights of their workers and franchisees.

CEO Geoff Ballotti explained, “In our first year as a new public company, today’s recognition as one of the World’s Most Ethical Companies is a continued reaffirmation of the inclusive, values-driven culture instilled in our team members by our former parent, Wyndham Worldwide. Strong ethics are the foundation of our corporate culture, with integrity being one of our company’s core values.”
