Nylo Dallas Plano Hotel, Tapestry Collection by Hilton has benefited from a significant revamp

Prism Hotels & Resorts has finished the extensive refurbishment of Nylo Las Colinas and Nylo Dallas/Plano, both part of Tapestry Collection by Hilton, in Dallas.

A pair of hotels operating under the Tapestry Collection by Hilton brand have undergone comprehensive makeovers. We take a closer look at the enhancements carried out at these popular properties.

Authentic and unique hotel experiences

Working closely with JF Capital Advisors, which acts as strategic advisor to the owner and was involved throughout the conversion process, Prism Hotels & Resorts undertook full overhauls of the Texan properties in early 2020.

Prism Hotels and Resorts president and CEO Steve Van said: “After extensive upgrades to virtually every facet of each hotel, these properties are primed to deliver the one-of-a-kind experience. From guest suites, meeting spaces, technology and more, there are no details left untouched. They are incredible.

“These significant investments coupled with the already proven reputation of Hilton make us proud to manage these great properties and deliver for our owners in the way they have come to know and expect as our Prism Difference.”

Stylish loft-style guestrooms

Nylo Las Colinas has a loft-style design featuring exposed brickwork, polished concrete, and industrial windows. The improvements include furnishings to complement this look, comprising desks, nightstands, platform beds with new Hilton mattresses, lighting fixtures, stylish drapery, artwork and 49” HDTVs in standard loft rooms.

Refurbishments to the bathroom suites include additional storage space under white quartz vanity tops and large round backlit mirrors for optimal lighting. Moreover, each shower now has floor-to-ceiling white subway tiling with opaque glass looking over the bedroom area.

A new locally inspired menu at the hotel’s in-house restaurant, Loft Restaurant & Bar, will be launched in late 2020. The property’s 3,115 sq ft Manhattan Ballroom also received major structural acoustic upgrades, making for enhanced audio quality at future events; this ballroom space can accommodate up to 300 guests for receptions and 220 for banquets.

The guestrooms and bathroom suites at Nylo Dallas/Plano, meanwhile, received similar upgrades to those at the Las Colinas property, while the restaurant has been rebranded as Loft Restaurant & Bar.
