Marriott Hotels & Resorts, Autograph Collection and Hotel Indigo are the brands behind some of the most exciting hotels to have opened this month.

This 12-storey property is adjacent to Marriott International’s soon-to-open global headquarters. The hotel is owned by The Bernstein Companies and managed by Marriott International, with the architecture of Gensler and interior design of Rottet Architecture and Design Studio.

As well as being a gateway to the greater Washington, D.C. area, this new hotel aims to be a destination in its own right with venues including Bethesda’s first high-rise rooftop bar. In interiors inspired by the region’s natural attributes facilities include a fitness centre with Peloton bikes, M Club, a library highlighting local authors and three food and drink concepts by executive chef Dupree Braswell: The Greatroom lobby bar, Seventh State restaurant and Hip Flask rooftop bar. Events will be held in 8,000 sq ft of event space.

TETRA Hotel, Autograph Collection, California

The 186-key TETRA Hotel, an Autograph Collection Hotel, is now open in Silicon Valley, just minutes from San Jose International Airport in its Sunnyvale location. Hotel Indigo NYC Downtown – Wall Street

The boutique lifestyle brand from IHG Hotels & Resorts, Hotel Indigo, launched its latest New York City property this month with an opening in the city’s storied Financial District. The brand’s second hotel in Manhattan, this property pays homage to the history of Wall Street. The hotel’s contemporary interiors were designed by Gene Kaufman Architect PC to reflect the neighbourhood, with gold accents, leathers, reflective surfaces and a vintage ticker tape machine woven into the design of the property’s 127 guest rooms.

The hotel’s signature restaurant, Buttonwood, takes its name from the tree the Buttonwood Agreement was signed beneath when the stock exchange was founded in 1792. This restaurant now caters to business lunches and after-work aperitifs with a menu of New York City classics. Other highlights of the new hotel include the 25th-floor Highwater Rooftop cocktail bar. The hotel was created by The Rinaldi Group, Atlas Hospitality New York and IHG Hotels & Resorts, with Fortuna Reality Group managing the property.
